count:

The count command will count for a fixed preset.

The syntax for the count command is:

    count [preset channel value] [repeat=n] [channel1 channel2 ...]

The preset can be in the form 'channel value' or 'countfile path' if the countfile option is used. The optional repeat=n argument will repeat the count n times. The optional [channel1 channel2 ...] will only display the results for the specified input channels.  As an example, to count for 10000 monitor counts, the user would type:

    count preset monitor 10000

and to repeat this count 10 times:

count preset monitor 10000 repeat 10

The count command can also be accessed from the GUI by selecting the Count Preset tab from the Drive/Scan/Count top-level tab.  To count using a specified preset, t
he green button at the bottom of the tab must be changed from "Monitoring ... Click to allow changes" to "Changing ... click to monitor". Then click on the green button on the right corresponding to the channel which you would like to use as the preset channel, type in the appropriate preset value, put in a value for repeat (if needed), and click on the blue "Count using specified preset and repeat" button.
